USS Laffey Association
USS Laffey Association is a group of men and women who want to
preserve and maintain the USS Laffey DD 724 at Patriots Point, Mt Pleasant, SC
29464. With the staff at Patriots
Point, we preserve and maintain the ship, its records, memories, letters,
photos, videos, etc. We meet
annually for a Reunion and numerous times for a work party aboard the ship.
We honor the all who served and support the USS Laffey.
USS Laffey Association is a
501c(19) nonprofit veterans organization.
Donations are tax free.

We have an annual reunion to socialize with
everyone in the association.
Every even year the reunion is in Charleston SC.

We have numerous work parties aboard the
Laffey each year to preserve and maintain the ship.
The spring work party is typically includes April 16th
with memorial service for fallen shipmates.

The mission of the USS Laffey Association is for the education
and preservation of the USS Laffey DD724 Museum Ship at the Patriots Point Naval
& Maritime Museum at Mount Pleasant, SC.
We are dedicated to all destroyers that fought so valiantly in all
theatres of World War II and in Korea, and especially to the two USS Laffeys (DD
459 and DD 724) that saw action during these periods.
