The Laffey has been patched again and all has been dry for almost a week.
The divers have put a second, larger patch over the original one. It is holding. They have a crew taking soundings on the hull to see where she needs to be strengthened.
There will be a meeting soon of the Board of Trustees of Patriots Point to make a decision on what to do. They need all of the money we can come up with to get her ready to go to the yards. I'll keep everyone posted as I get the news from Charleston.
Keep sending the donations and tell all of your congressmen too.
