In Harm's Way
On July 7, 2005, Sonny Walker drove to
Cinncinattie, Ohio to visit Al and Debbie Csiszar .
On this
visit, he was joined by Jim and Lillian Spriggs. The purpose of this visit
was to accept
the
original painting of "In Harm's Way" which had been a centerpiece in the
Csiszar's home for
many years. Al and Debbie have graciously donated this painting to the
Association with
the understanding that it will find a permanent home in the wardroom on the
USS Laffey.
Every member of the Association owes Al and
Debbie a debt of gratitude for their many
years of total support to our Association.
