Congrats and thank
you to the team who put together today's event and made the new gun mount
exhibit on the USS Laffey a reality. Having a Laffey plank owner, who was
aboard on 'that fateful day', in attendance as well as so many other veterans,
including the Laffey work party really made it special.
Attached are a very few photos I snapped before Jim Vickers took over. I hope
he'll share some of his.
It was a great day and I hope those of you who missed it will find time to
experience the new exhibit soon.
