Elizabeth Reuss Becton
Elizabeth Reuss Becton of Wynnwood, Pennsylavania passed away on December 11, 2001. She was born in Philadelphia, on May 28, 1920 to Edward H. Reuss and Katherine W. Reuss. Mrs. Becton attended the Agnes Irwin School and Harcum College.
She was a lifelong friend to all animals and was an active member of the Women's Humane Society and the Animal Rescue League. Other membership included the Army Navy Club, the Philadelphia Skating Club, and the Merion Cricket Club.
Surviving Mrs. Becton are her two daughters, Hilary B. Wagner and Julie B. Becton, her brother, Richard Reuss, and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Rear Admiral F. Julian Becton.
