The one from Combatdiv 5 was received after our task force bombarded Cherbourg. It's an interesting one in that Combatdiv 5
was in the USS Texas. She was hit on the bridge and 2 people were killed, one of them being the QM1/c who had the helm.
The helmsman on our ship was a QM1/c (Jack Doran) He had been transferred from the Texas
to our ship and was part of the commissioning crew. His battle station on the Texas was the helm.
You never know.
